How do we extract meaning from sound and speech?
How are messages and ideas generated from our sensorial surroundings? “Narratives” tries to give an answer creating a sonic reflection where sonority is the place where time, meaning and sound meet.
Pamela Soria
Pamela Soria is a Mexican pianist, composer and professor.
She has taught at the National Conservatory of Music in Mexico since 2011, yet she has also given lectures about music analysis, been assistant recording engineer at Palacio de Bellas Artes Concert Hall in Mexico and she tries to find time to compose music for commercial projects as well as for the academic repertoire.
She currently lives and works in Mexico City, where the pandemic gave her some time to produce the pieces kindly showcased here.
